Merry Christmas?

I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. Our Christmas morning started out great...ended in confusion...and is now looking much better.

The morning was great. This was the first Christmas that Lukas understood what was going on. When he saw all the presents under the tree when he stepped into the living room, he reaction was priceless. He was so excited he could barely contain himself. The morning continued on great. We had a blast opening presents. I was able to surprise Taneesha with a pearl necklace and earing set (which she has wanted since we were married). I wasn't sure I would be able to pull of the surprise, but I did, and it was classic. She had no idea. We then had our traditional French Toast Christmas Tree Breakfast. It was all wonderful.

Then, it went downhill. To make a personal story not as personal, we thought we were loosing our baby Christmas morning. Taneesha is pregnant again, for those that did not know, and we thought we were losing another baby. We had lost one once before. It was right before Eli was conceived and it was about the same distance along as this baby is. The rest of our evening was pretty rough for us. We were like, sweet...merry Christmas?...

But, this morning T went in for an ultrasound, and the Tech said that the baby is doing great and seems to be strong. She said that it appears that there was just some small hemoraging that is fairly normal, and that everything should be fine. We are now waiting to hear back from T's doctor to see what is actually going on and what we should be doing. For now, though, we feel very blessed. Our baby is healthy...the Lord is faithful...and everything is right.

Keep us in your prayers though. Pray that everything will continue to be alright.

Merry Christmas to you all.
