What has the LORD been teaching you this Summer?

For me, it has been patience and trust.

This has been an insane Summer for us so far, and it is not going to be changing anytime soon. The LORD is teaching me that in the midst of us (me) not having a clue as to what he is doing, or where he is taking us, he is faithful--always has been always will be--and that I can trust in him to take care of us, guide us, and use us in his timing.

That is the hardest part, the whole timing thing. I know he knows what he is doing... but it just seems to take forever sometimes. Praise the LORD, we finally have our place out in Sandy. We just need to move into it now. But with Taneesha being in constant pain, me working three jobs till I can transfer over to one, and this baby needing to get here, moving is not exactly easy. The Lord knows though, and that is where our trusting in his faithfulness comes in.

If you think of us, please be in prayer, especially for Taneesha. She has been in constant pain and can barely walk. Her pelvic bone is separating, causing her to be in excruciating pain. Please pray that the baby will come soon (she is over 37 weeks), that her pain be minimal, and that in the meantime our move will go smoothly.

Your prayers for her---for us, would be much appreciated.

Blessings on you all in and through our gracious and loving savior, Jesus Christ.

  1. Mike,

Glad to hear you got a place in Sandy. I will be praying for Taneesha.

Bro, I don't know if you use google reader or not but a lot of people do use it and I think your settings for your blog are not set up to allow anyone to actually read your posts in google reader. We just see the title of the post but we have to go directly to your blog to read.

If you go to settings for your blog and then click on site feed, you can allow everything in full.

    That would be awesome!
