Living in a Winter Wonderland

So, for the last week or so we have lived in a perpetual winter wonderland. The snow is piling up, school keeps getting canceled (which is not so great when you rely on driving a school bus for an important part of your income).

But...not to be negative, it is truly beautiful outside. The boys have had a blast playing in the snow. I would post some pictures, but it seems that during the move we may have misplaced our battery charger for our camera. So, in short, it has been fun...I am just not sure about the being trapped at home and not being able to do any of things that had been planned. It is hard to do events and ministry when no one can leave there homes without getting stuck in the snow.

I know, I know, some of you live in places where the winters are far worse than here. But, you have to remember this... you also have snow crews that works non-stop to keep the roads clear and drivable. We do not. We have what seems like two guys that plow and gravel the main roads, and that is it. When where you live is mostly rural back roads, it is hard to get out and about. Oh, well. So we stay home. We watch movies, and we play games.

The new house by the way... is awesome. It is plenty of room and plenty warm. We are grateful for it. It has been a huge blessing.

Blessings on you all.
