November is for Thanks | Day 3

Today I am thankful for our Halloween traditions. Halloween, however you feel about it, is a fun time for our family. We get to be creative (mostly my awesome and smoking hot wife) and we get to be a team...we get to be a part of something bigger than any one of us by ourselves. We have always enjoyed our group costumes. And my wife always does an amazing job of pulling it all together.

Another part of this is the trick-or-treating we usually do after whatever is happening over at the church. Our kids always have a ton of fun going door to door, and Taneesha and I get enjoy all the compliments on how good the kids look (seriously, my wife does an awesome job!). This year was extra funny...we couldn't stop laughing. Emma Love, our youngest, finally got what trick-or-treating was all about this year and she would get super excited and start calling out to her siblings when she saw that another house had their porch light on. She was so excited she would start singing a little song as she ran up to the houses (with her little Dorothy slippers falling off along the way).

So yeah...today I am thankful for our silly, and yet perfect, little Halloween traditions.
